We are going to be very brave and use ourselves as inspiration.
This moth of drawing & painting the figure, it feels important to remember that we are the figure... Every age, shape or size, we are all miraculous living beings with incredible bodies.
You will need
Your phone camera
Paper at least A3 size or bigger
A soft pencil or progresso (graphite stick)
ink or one colour of paint
exaggerate & distort the figure
Take a few photos of yourself (you can be wearing as much or as little as you like)
The easiest way to do this is to set up your phone, and then video yourself, you can choose your favourite stills from the video.
Try to frame yourself in an interesting way... taking up as much of the frame as possible.
IF YOU DON"T WANT TO USE YOURSELF you could use some of the images of Jasmin from week 9 (or ask a friend or family member to pose for you hehe).
Get your paper and draw 4 or 6 frames with a pencil.
Draw a figure into each frame, 3 - 5 minutes each, using the photos you took as guidance.
Make sure that you distort and exaggerate so that the figure touches every side of your frame
Focus on the negative spaces more than you focus on the body.
These are not meant to be realistic!
You do NOT need any features on the figure, no details, no face etc.
Lastly colour all of the negative spaces with ink or with one paint colour.

Optional extra If you want to continue... here are some more ideas:
Use a background that you already have or paint a base.
Draw a frame with chalk.
Exaggerate & distort the figure onto your painting with chalk making sure the figure touches every edge of the frame.
Focus on negative space, no details.
Use one colour or ink to paint the negative spaces.
You could do it on white paper again too...
