Drawing a Dancer This lesson is delivered as a video! The video is 1 and a half hours and is probably best to do it in one session. You can pause it any time you need to if you need extra time... You will need
Quite a lot of paper at least A3 size or bigger (good to use cheap paper for warm ups)
A soft pencil or progresso (graphite stick) for the first part.
Charcoal or soft pastel or ink.
You might like to use paints or ink for the long poses towards the end.
I was not able to include music this time because the video is being streamed via youtube with strict copyright rules.
Here is a link to the Spotify playlist I created to go with the lesson. Spotify Link It should be the right timing if you pause it during the moments that I appear with little tips and explanations.
I hope you have lots of fun with this and approach it with a sense of curiosity and lightheartedness... Drawing the figure is an art form which gets easier and more rewarding the more you do it and the less you try...
GESTURE can open you to peak experiences... By provoking... By giving you a situation with which the mind cannot cope... new doors can open where other perceptions blossom in you
and as you relax and let go the surprises of creativity arrive and overtake you written by Shanti
